The MAEOP Board members created small groups called "Areas." What is the purpose of areas? The purpose is to establish a small, united group within a large state for becoming better acquainted with your neighboring schools, and to enhance membership within the four areas in MAEOP. You currently belong to one of the four areas. The four areas and their directors are:

DIRECTOR, SOUTH AREA
Suzie Rosa
Marshall Public Schools
401 S. Saratoga
Marshall, MN  56258
Work:  507-537-6938
suzie.rosa@marshall.k12.mn.us
DIRECTOR, CENTRAL AREA
Colleen O'Brien Erickson
Wayzata Public Schools
PO Box 660
Wayzata, MN 55391
Work: 763-745-5002
Colleen.erickson@wayzata.k12.mn.us
Northeast Area - OPEN Position   Northwest Area - OPEN Position

Once a year, hopefully in the spring, each area will have their own get together for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a visit, and possibly even hear a good speaker. We will at some point try to have conferences in each area by rotating locations. This way once every four years you will have the opportunity to have the MAEOP membership come to your area. Your director will contact you sometime this year. I hope you will all enjoy this opportunity to better acquaint yourself and build bridges between you and your neighboring school districts.
